In April 2019, the Company made a new start as a manufacturing subsidiary of Mitsubishi Corporation Life Sciences Limited in conjunction with the merger of the former Kojin Life Sciences Co., Ltd. with it.

We have inherited the production business in Saiki City, Oita Prefecture for more than 60 years, including the age of Kojin Co., Ltd. Based on the biotechnology research and development and production technology that combine the advanced fermentation technologies of Mitsubishi Corporation Life Sciences Group companies, we will continue to work on the development and production of high-quality, high value-added fermented products that meet customer needs.

We also recognize that safe operation and addressing environmental issues are our especially important responsibilities and that thorough compliance is essential; besides, we will address sustainability key issues such as sustainable procurement and responsible sourcing, realizing stable supply, conserving the natural environment, and growing together with local communities continuously and proactively. Thus, we will strive to meet the expectations of our customers and local community.
